Find out about Gaëlle, the hands-on woman at the helm of Le Clos d'Audio. Passionate about her region and dedicated to the art of hospitality. Welcome to her story.
Your host: Gaëlle
Trained in hotel management, cuisine, and sommellerie, Gaëlle honed her skills in prestigious establishments before heading off to discover the Scottish Highlands in 1996. It was there, in a cosy Bed & Breakfast by the fireside, that she discovered what traditional hotels so rarely offer: the warmth of a real home.
In 2010, a large stone house in Riols, in the Parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc, opened its arms to her. Perfect for welcoming guests. She converted the upper floor into bedrooms, never compromising on what matters most: that every guest feels truly expected, not merely accommodated. Since 2013, she has devoted all her energy to Le Clos d'Audio and to those who stop here.
Over twenty years of refining the art of hospitality, five rooms designed down to the last detail, and a deep commitment to the local area: Gaëlle doesn't just host her guests, she is a member of the Tourism Office Board within the local community council, and Treasurer of the association of Passa Païs Véloccitanie greenway professionals. An enthusiast through and through!
